Lexington, SC - Touting his extensive track record, Frank Barron kicked off his campaign to become the next Coroner of Lexington County. The general election for coroner is on Tuesday, November 8th.
“I am the only candidate for Coroner with the experience and professionalism to run an effective office,” said Barron, who previously served as Richland County Coroner.
Barron’s plans to improve the office include starting a “state of the art” Medical Examiner system, placing a Deputy Coroner in each region for faster response times and having a strong relationship with law enforcement to ensure more thorough investigations.
“I was entrusted by my peers around the state to serve as president of the SC Coroners’ Association seven times,” said Barron. “Unfortunately, the current Coroner has been plagued by a series of errors in judgement in addition to having constant staff turnover in the office. Lexington County needs a coroner who has passed the test of time.”
Barron also pointed out that he is the only candidate with a proven history as a Conservative Republican.
“Of the two candidates in this election, I am the only one that has fought for conservative issues and been involved in the Republican Party over many years. I urge all voters to make sure they look at their ballot and vote in the race for coroner individually so they can vote for Frank Barron. If you vote straight party, you will not have a chance to vote for me.”

“I am looking forward to earning the support and the votes of the citizens of Lexington County. It is time we have a professional coroner at the helm.
