BOOST gives 2 and 3 year olds the boost they need to succeed

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Lexington 3's newest early childhood program, BOOST began recently at B-L Primary. BOOST (Beginning Opportunities Offered for Student Transition) is designed to engage families with 2-3-year olds in a Montessori learning environment, and is an interactive classroom setting for parent and child.

Children participating in BOOST will experience exciting opportunities with Montessori materials, develop focus and concentration, improve motor skills and cognitive development, while preparing them for kindergarten readiness and a positive school experience.

Lexington 3’s BOOST Montessori sessions will begin on Tuesday, September 6, and will operate each Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. for a total of eight weeks. Additional BOOST enrollment sessions will take place after winter break, allowing new families to enroll in the program.

Parents will develop new knowledge of Montessori and their child’s learning environment. Additionally, they will learn about early brain development, and be introduced to the importance of language and literacy.

This is not a “drop-off” childcare program or mother’s morning out program. Parents will be required to participate in all aspects of the BOOST program. Spaces are limited, and there will be a waiting list for the next sessions.

Applications are now available by contacting BOOST Coordinator, Debbie Teer at 803-315-8184 or email Debbie at dteer@lex3.k12.sc.us. Applications should be mailed or delivered to Batesburg-Leesville Primary School, 800 Summerland Avenue, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006 or emailed to Ms. Teer.
