Lexington, S.C. (October 3, 2016) – Chief Terrence Green would like the Town of Lexington community to be aware that officers are searching for Amanda Worthy who was reported to the Lexington Police Department today as a missing person.

The father of Amanda Worthy reported her missing on Monday, October 3, 2016 at noon, stating that she had walked away from a business on the 1100 block of West Main Street at approximately 10:00 a.m. that morning.

Amanda Worthy is described as a 33 year old white female with a height of 5’6” and weighs approximately 240 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a lightweight burgundy sweater.

Amanda Worthy has a history of mental illness and may be a threat to her own safety.
