LEXINGTON, S.C. – A man charged with a fatal Thanksgiving Day shooting in Gaston is facing additional charges related to the incident.
Michael Larone Williams, 28, of Gaston is charged with attempted murder, possessing a weapon during a violent crime and possessing a weapon after being convicted of a violent felony, according to arrest warrants. Williams was previously charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Kevadric Akeem Pressley.
“A 16-year-old male was in the car with Pressley when the shots were fired,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “The teen was not injured in the shooting and provided information that has been important to our investigation.”
Williams is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
