B-L High raises $1350 in its second annual RELAYPALOOZA
Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Lexington School District Three would like to thank the Batesburg-Leesville High School students and staff for making the 2nd Annual RELAYPALOOZA a success this past week. This initiative led by the school’s Beta Club and Interact Club, with help from FFA, PInterest Club and Criminal Justice Program, raise $1350 thus far in support of the American Cancer Society.
B-L High invites everyone to the BL community-wide Relay for Life event Friday night beginning at 6:00 pm. Luminaries can be purchased from the school’s main office for $10.00. These luminaries contain a candle held in place by sand and they will line the track Friday night. There is nothing more beautiful and solemn than seeing these bags lit as a hush covers the field and walkers look for the luminaries of friends and loved ones.
They encourage the school, and community to visit the BLHS tent Friday night. Don't forget your lawn chair! The team will be selling pizza, water, soda, and Little Debbie Cakes Friday night in support of the American Cancer Society.

B-L High students wait in line to purchase some of the delicious food items that were on sale during the school’s recent RELAYPALOOZA. The school raised over $1300 for the Relay for Life campaign through this event.
