Lexington, SC - Boeing team members, Frank Hatten, Strategy & Integration Education Relations Specialist, and Tommy Preston, Director, National Strategy and Engagement, visited Batesburg-Leesville High School earlier today to share information on what it takes to become a part of the Boeing team at the facility in Charleston. SC Department of Commerce Regional Workforce Advisor, Dr. Kaye Shaw coordinated the visit. Sandi Oliver, vice-president of Midlands Technical College and Mike Taylor, president of Batesburg-Leesville Chamber of Commerce also attended the event. Over 50 B-L High students had the opportunity to learn about what it takes to become and Boeing team member and all of the advantages of working for such a prestigious company. Thanks to all who played a part in making this event so successful.
