B-L High Graduation is Friday, May 26 - Handicapped Parking for Ceremony

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - Batesburg-Leesville High School will provide handicapped parking for those who need it for the 97th Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2017 to be held on May 26 at 7 p.m. This year’s graduation ceremony will be held on the home side of Panther Stadium. Handicapped individuals will be directed to drive up to the first row of parking spaces facing the stadium. An officer will be there to direct those with state-issued handicapped car decals to one of the spaces that are reserved.

Individuals with state-issued handicapped car decals are asked to make sure that they have these decals clearly visible when entering the high school parking lot so that school personnel can direct them to the handicapped parking area. For those needing assistance to get from their cars to the seating area, the district will provide golf carts to transport handicapped individuals from the designated parking area to the handicapped seating area.

No one will be allowed to enter the stadium on the visitor’s side nor will they be allowed to go over to the visitor’s side during the ceremony.

In the event of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be held in the Fine Arts Center and admission will be by ticket only. Overflow guests may go to the gym to watch the ceremony on closed-circuit television.

If you have any questions regarding the handicapped parking arrangements, please call B-L High School at 532-9251.
