Swansea church to host “Back to School Bash,” but they need your help

Swansea, SC - The Swansea Church of God will host at “Back to School Bash” on August 19, 2017 at their church campus in Swansea. Right now, they are asking the community for help gathering the necessary items for the event.

According to Pastor Steven Faust, the youth pastor for the church, they are looking for people and businesses that are willing to make donations of just about anything that can be used during the event that will make it more enjoyable for the young people of the community. Things like school supplies, drinks, candy, baked goods, and other food items would help. Of course, money is also accepted. All donations are tax deductible as well, and monetary donations can be mailed to the church at: Swansea COG, 891 St. Matthews Rd. Swansea, SC 29160.

They are planning to have bounce houses, water slides, lots of games, and FREE food for those who attend. The event will last from 9 a.m. until noon on that Saturday. The event will be held at the church’s campus on St. Matthews Rd. just south of the town of Swansea.

If you have anything you can donate, have general questions, or would like to know more, you can contact Pastor Steve at (803) 309-1764.
