Lexington County sheriff’s deputies spend part of Friday searching for burglary suspect near Sardis

Sandy Run, SC (Paul Kirby) – Deputies from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department spent a good portion of the day Friday searching for a burglary suspect in the Sandy Run area southeast of the town of Swansea. According to a spokesman for the department, the search was being conducted close to Sardis Church Road.

Deputies were searching for Glenn Keller Stabler, a white male, who has existing warrants for his arrest on burglary charges. According to the department, they called off the search at approximately 2:30 p.m. after being unable to locate Stabler. They are still on the lookout for him and are asking for the public to do so as well.

If anyone sees Stabler, the sheriff’s department is asking that they call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-Crime SC.
