September 22, 2017

Lexington, SC - Lead singer Hayden Christian and his band Black Water Shine are hosting a Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert Saturday, September 30 at the Icehouse Amphitheater, located at 107 West Main Street in Lexington. The gates open at 3 pm, and admission is free. The concert will begin at 4 pm.

Local musicians, Trent Jeffcoat and Allison Skipper, will be joining the band on stage. Food, adult beverages, sodas, water, and snow cones will be sold. Inflatable rides and bounce houses will be available for children. All of the proceeds will be going to the Salvation Army Disaster Relief. Salvation Army will also be represented by signs and donation buckets.

"Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to help people that have been affected by the recent hurricanes," said Rebecca Wieczorek, Hayden Christian's mother, who helped coordinate the event.
