One-of-a-kind table crafted from B-C High bleacher wood to be auctioned at membership event

West Columbia, SC - The Brookland-Cayce High School Foundation is cooking up some fun for its annual membership event.

The Annual Membership and Barbecue Supper is set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in the Brookland-Cayce High School cafeteria. Can’t stay for dinner? Take-out hour is 5-6 p.m.

The Oct. 12 event also will include an auction of a one-of-a-kind trestle table and benches created from basketball bleacher wood from the school. It was donated by Lexington 2 architect John Drafts. The foundation’s 1997 charter members also will be recognized at the membership event.

The Brookland-Cayce High School Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes educational programs at the Lexington 2 school.
