Law enforcement divers to train on Lake Murray this week
Lexington, S.C. -- On Wednesday, Oct. 11, and Thursday, Oct. 12, The S.C. Law Enforcement Divers Association is conducting a training exercise at the Bundrick Island marine patrol facilities on Lake Murray. Officers from multiple agencies throughout the state will participate in the two-day dive training which will simulate a plane collision with multiple casualties.
SCLEDA was founded with the purpose of enabling multiple agencies to work together using standard dive search practices. There are currently more than 100 members, and two training sessions are hosted each year.
