Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – The long-delayed Rush’s restaurant construction in Red Bank is finally back on track after design problems stalled it for months. The people of the area began wondering months ago if the anticipated eatery would ever be completed.
According to a source involved with the project, the original design that Rush’s has used for some time had a tendency to leak around the roof trusses when it rained. In this project, it was decided that those trusses would be redesigned, and replaced with a newly engineered style. Once the old-style trusses were removed, and the redesigned ones were installed, it was discovered that those wouldn’t work either. Finally, a design was decided on, and the roof trusses were installed so that the construction could continue.
According to Clifford Fisher the grading contractor, the parking lots should be completed soon. After that, the building shouldn’t be far behind.
