Proceeds from this event will go to help Hurricane ravaged Jensen Beach, Florida
Irmo, SC (James Bowers) - Shimmer Salon is “cutting for a good cause” this Sunday as they hold their Shear Passion Cut-A-Thon to benefit the residents of Jenson Beach, Florida. The beach community was ravaged by Hurricane Irma earlier this year. The event will be held at the salon in the Quail Valley Shopping Center which is located at 6801 St. Andrews Road. It will run from 1 until 6p.m. Sunday, November 5th.
Folks who plan to attend may park at Irmo High School. Attendees can have their hair cut by Shimmer’s stylists, and there will also be a food truck, as well as a bouncy house and face painting for youngsters. Live music will be going on throughout the event, from performers such as Trent Jeffcoat, Kelly Wyatt and David Sink, the Shelby Raye Trio, Eric Causey, and Ryan Trotti. Irmo Fire District will have one of their trucks on display from 1-3 PM.
