January 12, 2018

Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) The Cayce Department of Public Safety is on the scene of what is being called a home invasion on Middleton Street in the city. Middleton runs from the original Maurice’s BBQ over to Glenn Street. According to departmental sources, there was an elderly man in the home that has been injured. The extent of his injuries is not known.

Details are limited at this time because the officers are just beginning their investigation. Officers are looking for two suspects that they said fled the scene. Public Safety Director Byron Snellgrove said that the suspects are described as two Hispanic men that are believed to be driving a beige 4-door car.

If you see a duo that matches this description, do not approach them or intervene in any way. Immediately dial 911. If you believe you have information regarding this crime, please call the Cayce Department of Public Safety at (803) 794-0456 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC.
