Service tech robbed at drive-up ATM at BB&T on Harbison Blvd.

February 8, 2018

Irmo, SC (Paul Kirby) The Lexington County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them identify two men who robbed a technician who was servicing the drive-up ATM at the BB&T branch on Harbison Blvd. near Irmo.  Captain Adam Myrick said that the incident happened earlier today, and the suspects were caught from several angles on cameras.

Based on early info from the scene, two black male suspects left the scene in a gray KIA Sportage hatchback. The ATM technician was not injured. The branch is still open, but drive-thru lanes are currently closed as investigators continue looking into the crime.

Currently, the department is asking for anyone who may can help in identifying the young black men who committed the robbery to call with tips. If you recognize him, please call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
