Coroner Fisher’s office identifies victim of fiery crash Sunday morning

Gaston, SC (Paul Kirby) Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim who perished in a car crash Sunday morning. She said Ms. Mia Briana Justine James, 29, of Orangeburg was killed in the collision.

State troopers said Sunday that James was travelling in the wrong direction on I-26 when she collided with a Mack truck. Both vehicles went off the road and eventually burst into flames. Fisher said that James was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries she sustained in the collision.
