Sheriff’s department seeking man regarding wallet he turned in

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is seeking a man who turned in a wallet. The wallet was stolen during a recent robbery and investigators would like to ask the man some questions regarding where he got it and what he knows about the wallet. The man was clearly caught on a camera at a store making a purchase.

The man you see in the picture is who the investigators would like to speak with. He’s an African American who’s wearing a black t-shirt, blue pants, white tennis shoes with dark designs on them, and is wearing what looks like a distinctive necklace of some type. He has a medium build, a beard, and perhaps a mustache that’s growing in. He also may be wearing a bracelet or watch on his right arm.

If you know who this man is, please notify Midlands Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC. You can also make tips at midlandscrimestoppers.com and then navigating to the SUBMIT A TIPS tab. You can also go to your AP store and download the Crimestoppers new P3 Tips ap.
