Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – A new non-profit recovery facility aimed at assisting families and young people working on the process of recovery from substance abuse has just purchased a tract of land on Park Road near its intersection with Old Cherokee Road in Lexington. According to Southern Vision Reality, the company that facilitated the transaction, this will be the future home of The Courage Center. The Courage Center offers educational and awareness activities as well as other substance abuse assistance.
According to a press release from the realty company, construction is scheduled to begin soon, with completion expected in late summer. Co-Founders Scotty and Susan Mill said that the vision of The Courage Center is to be a community of abundant opportunities, love and compassion for young people and families seeking recovery from substance abuse.
