Batesburg-Leesville, SC (Angelica Iglesias) – The Batesburg-Leesville Rotary Club inducted Eddie Cogdill as their new president during their regular weekly meeting at Angelo’s on Tuesday, July 11.
At the start of the meeting, preceding president Andy Bedenbaugh inducted Cogdill through an oath and presented him with the presidential gavel that is used to run the meetings. Cogdill then got to run his first Rotary meeting as president.
Cogdill has been a member of the Rotary Club in Batesburg-Leesville for many years and is a plant manager at CSS Industries. He and his wife Melissa have two children.
During the meeting following Cogdill’s induction, Angelica Iglesias was also inducted as the newest member of the club. She is head intern and assistant editor of the Lexington Ledger.
