September 5, 2018

South Congaree, SC (Paul Kirby) – A man that was being chased by a number of sheriff’s deputies escaped capture after an extensive manhunt near South Congaree on Tuesday. According to people who lived in and around the Heatherwood neighborhood, Fitts Drive, and even Gator Road, a number of law enforcement officers were involved as well as several K-9s. This all happened around mid-day and was called off later in the afternoon.
