Swansea Police Department seeking suspects who vandalized and robbed vending machine

October 5, 2018

Swansea, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Swansea Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify two subjects that vandalized and stole money from the drink machines at the Swansea Bi-Rite on September 30, 2018 between the hours of 3:22 am to 4:35 am. Police say that after reviewing the security video from the store, they believe the suspects used a crowbar to pry open the metal latch that covered the key locks. They then returned an hour later with keys to unlock the locks on the machines and make off with the money.

If you know or recognize these subjects, please contact Swansea Police Department at 803-568-3366. You can also notify them through their dispatch at 803-785-2521 or leave them a message at either location. You can also contact Midlands Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or midlandscrimestoppers.com and submit your tip through the SUBMIT A TIP tab.
