Springdale PD arrest woman in napping stolen car with drugs, friends

Springdale, SC (Paul Kirby) – Over the weekend, officers from the Springdale Police Department responded to a call in the 2200 block of Airport Boulevard in reference to a suspicious vehicle. When they arrived, officers found the vehicle pulled into a business parking lot and the occupants taking a nap inside.The police woke up the sleeping people and after doing a little investigation, they discovered that the vehicle was stolen out of the Town of Lexington. As the officers looked further, their investigation revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, heroin, and pills in the possession of the sleepyheads.

As a result of the tip regarding the vehicle, one individual has been taken into custody. She was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession of a schedule III narcotic. The 31-year-old woman was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center and later faced a bond hearing.
