Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Chief Terrence Green of the Town of Lexington Police Department said late Wednesday that an armed robbery investigation eventually led their department to make arrest on additional charges. The original robbery occurred in the Martin’s Grove neighborhood. That later led detectives on a follow up investigation resulting in narcotics distribution, drug paraphernalia and stolen firearm charges.

On November 5, 2018, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Mark Dilyn Coker Vice, age 25 of Kingstree, South Carolina and Brandon Alexander Rodighiero, age 26 of Columbia, South Carolina, went to a residence on the 100 block of Bellhaven Lane where they committed an armed robbery of Arden Blaize Breazeale, age 17 of Lexington.

During the armed robbery Vice and Rodighiero demanded money and personal belongings from Breazeale and then stole his watch from him. The suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle and were stopped by officers at the entrance of the Martin’s Grove neighborhood. Vice and Rodighiero were placed under arrest and each charged with Armed Robbery.

As the investigation into the armed robbery continued, detectives executed a search warrant on November 6, 2018 at the residence of Breazeale where they found approximately three pounds of marijuana and a stolen .40 caliber handgun. Also at the residence during the execution of this search warrant was Aiyden Matthew Haefner, age 17 of Lexington.
