7-Eleven invites community to second store’s grand-opening

January 15, 2019

Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) - Applegreen USA has announced they will be holding a grand-opening for their second Lexington County store. The event will be held Thursday, January 17 from 2 until 6 p.m. They have completely remodeled the old Village Store located at 5143 Platts Spring Road in the Red Bank community and turned it into an ultra-modern 7-Eleven.

This is the second 7-Eleven that Applegreen USA has opened in Lexington County over the past few months. The first, located on Augusta Highway near Lexington High School, was also a remodel that now has all new equipment, branding, and fixtures so that it’s easy to know you are in an iconic 7-Eleven. 7-Eleven is one of the country’s oldest convenience store chains. They had ceased doing business in Lexington County some time ago but have returned with a bang and grand-openings that give new meaning to the word grand!

When the Platt Springs Road store has their bash Thursday, there will be lots of free offers and giveaways as their way of saying thanks to the community for welcoming them. Product promotions and special giveaways include items from their partners including Budweiser, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Monster, Miller/Coors, Redbull and more! The free food samples and drinks including a sample of pizza, Big Bite Hot Dog® and other delicious items including their famous Slurpee drinks.

The entire community is welcome to attend on Thursday and see the new store. If this grand-opening is anything like the Lexington one, it will be a huge party!
