Swansea, SC (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County EMS, firefighters, and law enforcement officers responded late Wednesday to a vehicle wreck that trapped at least one person on SC Highway 6 near Swansea. Once the first responders arrived and assessed the situation, they felt one of the patients’ condition required the speed of a helicopter transport. At that point, they requested the launch of a Lifenet helicopter.
