Investigators with Sheriff’s Department working to identify Swansea burglary suspect
Swansea, SC (Paul Kirby) – Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are working to identify a suspect they believe burglarized a home in the Swansea area of the county. The deputies have very clear pictures of the man and a car he was driving when they think he stole firearms, tools, and electronics from a home in that area on March 18th.
The man was driving a car at the scene that is easily identifiable in the surveillance footage from the area. Investigators say that it’s a white Pontiac Grand Prix with Tennessee plate 6F2-1F1. Of course, they’ve already checked the plate with the State of Tennessee, but it hasn’t put them any closer to finding the man. If you know who he is, or think you do, you could be a huge help.
Look at the pictures closely. Then if you recognize the man, call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC. You can also submit tips at midlandscrimestoppers.com. Just go to that website and navigate to the SUBMIT A TIP tab. You could receive cash if your tip leads to an arrest.
