Magnolia Chamber Singers Spring Concert Announced: Take These Chains Away

Lexington, SC - The Magnolia Chamber Singers invite everyone to their spring concert on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, located at 119 North Church Street, Lexington, SC. The concert begins at 3:00 PM. Admission is free.

Led by Artistic Directors Matt McCall and Bailey Slice Parker, the choir will present a concert of songs of hope and freedom. Featuring African-American spirituals and a Bluegrass band, the concert will address ways that captivity still exists today, whether spiritual, romantic, financial, and other forms of modern-day slavery.

During the concert, those in attendance will hear from their community partner, Lighthouse for Life, about their mission to fight human trafficking and sexual slavery that is occurring right here in our community.
