Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Monday night's Lexington County Blowfish Game had to be cancelled due to wet grounds. The surface was unplayable as a result of this weekend's rain, along with the impending forecast of more rain and storms yesterday. Because of those factors, the game against the Holly Springs Salamanders was cancelled. The Blowfish staff worked hard to prepare the field as best as they could for Monday's game, but the field wasn’t safe for players to play on. The Blowfish do not play the Salamanders again in the first half of the season but are working to reschedule this game.
The Blowfish’s management said that they will work with schools who had their reading program nights scheduled for Monday to make up their nights at The Lex sometime this summer. If you have questions regarding your reading program night being rescheduled, please contact:

The Pancakes (AKA the Blowfish when they are playing the Macon Bacon) will make their return to The Lex tonight when we host the Macon Bacon with a first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. Their fair food special will be Pancakes on a Stick or Corn Dogs on a Stick! It's another Dog Day Tuesday, presented by Batesburg Leesville Animal Hospital! Bring your furry friend and enjoy Pancakes Baseball at The Lex.
