Chapin, SC (Paul Kirby) - The 31st Annual Greater Chapin Area Holiday Open House is again scheduled for October 31st through November 3rd. The organizers of the event invite your business to participate this year! Registration is open now and continues through September 20th.
The Greater Chapin Area Holiday Open House is always the first weekend in November. This year, things will be slightly different. Halloween falls on the Thursday of the event. As such, the Chamber encourages all participating merchants to offer specials on October 31st. The Chamber has left it to each merchant to set their hours at their own discretion on Halloween.
Most participating businesses have longer hours scheduled during the open house. Many are staying open until 8:00 p.m. and have added Saturday hours if they were closed that day. This allows more people to shop more stores at their convenience.
The Greater Chapin Area Holiday Open House is supported and organized by local brick and mortar businesses in the Chapin area. It serves to promote the "Shop Local" theme as area merchants gear up for the holiday season! The Chapin Chamber supports this initiative in cooperation with local business owners. The more businesses that participate, the more opportunities they will have to reap the benefits of joining others in just such an event. The Chapin Chamber assists with advertising this event through the use of radio advertising, billboards, social media, pamphlet distribution, signage and more. This is a great way to promote your Chapin area businesses.
The registration deadline for the event is September 20th, 2019. The cost is $100 for chamber members and $150 for non-chamber members. You can register your business by following this LINK.
