School District Five partners with the Department of Social Services for supper program

Irmo, SC - Lexington-Richland School District Five’s Student Nutrition department is continuing to ensure no child goes hungry by offering a “supper program” to students within the district. The program is made possible through the district’s partnership with the Department of Social Services (DSS).

The program will begin on October 1 and will end on June 5. Meals will be offered Monday through Friday to students enrolled in after school programs at Harbison West Elementary, Leaphart Elementary, Seven Oaks Elementary and Irmo High School, who provides meals for the YMCA Northwest location on Kennerly Road.

Meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability without charge.
