Batesburg-Leesville, SC (Paul Kirby) – The details of the funeral arrangements for Lexington firefighter and US Marine Paul Quattlebaum who was killed in the line of duty Friday afternoon, have now been finalized. Quattlebaum, 46, was a 22-year veteran of the fire service. Prior to that, he served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
According to the Barr-Price funeral home in Batesburg-Leesville, the home overseeing the service, the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium’s Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.
The actual funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct 8. at 4 p.m. at Batesburg-Leesville High School in the Fine Arts Center. This is located at 600 Summerland Ave Batesburg-Leesville SC 29006. The service was to be held there because a larger than average size of crowd is anticipated.
The visitation and funeral service are open to the public.
