Plan now to attend Lexington Police Department's Fall Festival
Lexington, SC – The Lexington Police Department Foundation Fall Festival is approaching and Chief Terrence Green would like to invite the Town of Lexington community to bring the entire family out to this annual event. It is planned for Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Fall Festival event will be held at the Town of Lexington Municipal Complex which is located at 111 Maiden Lane in Lexington.
As in years past, the LPD Foundation Fall Festival will be a night of family fun featuring games, food, costume contests, rides, and more. With nearly 100 vendors signed up to participate, this year’s Fall Festival will be the largest since it was started fourteen years ago.
The cost for the event will be $5 per person with free admission for children age 5 and under. Admission provides visitors with food from various vendors, Air Fun rides, costume contest with prizes, games, giveaways, mascots and much more.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lexington Police Department Foundation which is an innovative approach to community resource development as it can target specific needs identified by personnel at all levels within the department. More information on the LPD Foundation can be found on the Lexington Police Department website.
Each year a local organization is chosen as an event partner and The Courage Center will receive a donation from a portion of the proceeds of the LPD Foundation Fall Festival to further their mission of providing a safe, supportive, recovery-focused setting for young people and families on their recovery journey.
Event parking is available in the public parking lots near the Town of Lexington Municipal Complex to include the Icehouse Amphitheater, Lexington County Courthouse, Lexington County Administration Building, street side parking on Main Street and also the newly opened parking lots on South Church Street near Hendrix Street. Please avoid parking in a private parking lot without permission as you take on the risk your vehicle being towed.
Entrances to the Fall Festival event can be accessed from Maiden Lane and on South Lake Drive across the street from the Lexington County Courthouse and Administration building.
