Lexington, SC - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the pedestrian who died as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle on November 20, 2019 at approximately 09:20 P.M. in the 1500 block of North Lake Drive.
According to Coroner Fisher, Ms. Terry B. Aughtry, 60, of Lexington was walking in the roadway when she was struck by a motor vehicle. Ms. Aughtry was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later due to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, stopped at the scene to render aid.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
