Lexington, SC - Councilmember Kathy Maness represented the Town of Lexington recently at the National League of Cities’ summit in San Antonio, Texas. While at the summit, she won the Women in Municipal Government Leadership Award and was chosen as the next first vice president of the NLC!
The National League of Cities serves the interests of 19,000 cities, towns and villages in the U.S. It is also an invaluable resource that allows collaboration between communities to help make wherever you call 'home' a better place to live, work and play.
Councilmember Maness has been on the town’s council for a number of terms and has been dedicated to working with the other councilmembers to make Lexington a better place. In their social media post, Lexington town official said, “Congratulations Councilmember Maness!”
