Irmo, SC – The 2020 Taste of Lake Murray has been scheduled for March 5th, 2020. Each year, attendees enjoy live music from several bands. At the 2020 event, rising country music star Cody Webb, Going Commando and The Voltage Brothers will all perform.
In addition to the music, 15 area restaurants will provide samples of their specialty dishes for those in attendance to enjoy. The Taste of Lake Murray event was created years ago to raise money for the July 4th celebration on“The Jewel of South Carolina,” Lake Murray.It is a wonderful way for these great eateries to let visitors taste some of their best.
This is a public, adults only event. All adults are invited and encouraged to attend, enjoy themselves, and taste some of the best of the best food the area has to offer. The event is always a production of the Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Office.
The Taste of Lake Murray is held at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia. This is located at 2100 Bush River Road, Columbia. It’s close to the intersection of Bush River Road and I-20. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Remember, all monies raised at this event will support the July 4th fireworks celebration on Lake Murray. This year, that’s scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2020. Fireworks will launch from two lake locations that include Dreher Island State Park and Spence Island.
