West Columbia, SC – West Columbia’s Carraway Park located at 212 Hudson Street in West Columbia, SC, will temporarily close, beginning Monday, January 27, 2020. It will remain closed through Sunday, February 2, 2020. This will allow the contractor to complet their punch list items in the playground area. The interior of the park will be closed, as well as a portion of the parking lot closest to the pavilion for staging and truck parking. The area of the parking lot closest to the Riverwalk will remain open for Riverwalk users.
Carraway Park is a place enjoyed by many. The City recognizes that closing the park temporarily will be an inconvenience and worked with contractors to only have the park closed for the shortest amount of time possible with the least amount of impact on playtime.
