Columbia, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department will soon have three new deputies patrolling the roads of our county. Last week, E. Brown, P. Goeckel and L. Skrabak graduated from the SC Criminal Justice Academy’s Basic Certification Course.
These three are just getting started. They will now begin work alongside a field training deputy getting to know the roads and people of Lexington County better. They will also learn the inner workings of the Sheriff’s Department’s systems, rules, and procedures. Then they can get out there and catch the bad guys by themselves.
