Prescott Glen neighborhood closed for a short time Wednesday during manhunt for car break-in suspect

Round Hill, SC (Paul Kirby) – The entrance to Prescott Glen subdivision off Barr Road between Lexington and Gilbert was closed Wednesday morning while sheriff’s deputies searched for a person suspected of breaking into cars. This restricted access only lasted for a short time, but residents in and around the area were still concerned after noticing the heavy law enforcement presence.

According to Captain Adam Myrick, spokesman for Sheriff Koon, once the deputies captured the suspect, the neighborhood’s entrance was quickly reopened. There is no cause for alarm and with the arrest of the suspect, people should feel more secure knowing this person is off their streets.
