Small, first responder owned business has firefighters and EMTs teaching lifesaving CPR & First

Lexington County, SC (Paul Kirby) – For firefighter Bryan Barnes, first responding to many types of medical emergencies is a part of his daily life. He and other firefighters and EMTs often respond to assist people who are either having a medical emergency or with a friend or loved one who is in medical distress. Sadly, often times no one knows what to do or how to help when such an emergency arises. After seeing people standing by helplessly so many times, Bryan decided he would do something about it with some help from his friends who are all expert first responders.

Now, Bryan and some other firefighters and EMTs have gotten together and started a business called Palmetto Pulse CPR and First Aid. They teach basic life support first aid, as well as Heartsaver CPR for adults, children, and pediatric patients.

All their instructors are career firefighters, EMTs and paramedics with years of instructing and real-world experience. They’re currently running a discounted rate for classes of 10 or more so that you can have them come to your church, neighborhood association, business, or any other group and help you learn how to help others in an emergency.

You can find out more about on Palmetto Pulse CPR and First Aid by going to their Facebook page @palmettopulseCPR. You can also reach them via email at palmettopulsecpr@gmail.com.

The next time an emergency arises, don’t stand by feeling helpless. You could be the person that saves the life of someone you love or a complete stranger. Be prepared to do your part by getting trained through Palmetto Pulse CPR and First Aid.
