Shoplifters at it again in Lexington

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Officers with the Lexington Police Department need your help to identify two people who recently were involved in a shoplifting incident at a store in the town. The Publix grocery store was hit again according to police officers.

Officers say that two men went into the store and stole over $400 worth of merchandise while there. They were captured on video surveillance by Publix security while committing this crime.

The two men were casually dressed. One had on long pants that were similar to blue jeans with a t-shirt over it. The other was wearing black cargo shorts. He also had on a t-shirt. Both had on a PPE mask. Both men appear to have been wearing caps. One was blue with a white stripe on the brim that was facing forward. The other may have been wearing a black cap with the bill facing backwards. Both of them also had on tennis shoes and one of the men was wearing a lime green safety vest much like the ones used in highway construction.
