Coroner Fisher identifies victim of Fish Hatchery Road collision

Lexington, SC 01/24/2024 - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has positively identified the man who died in a single-vehicle accident in the 5800 block of Fish Hatchery Road near Pelion Tuesday night.

Coroner Fisher said Thursday that Antonia Deshawn White, 32, of Columbia was the passenger in a pick-up truck when it went off the left side of the roadway and overturned. White, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Prisma Health Richand with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol MAIT continue to investigate the incident.
