Music will include classic works by J. S. Bach, Johannes Brahms, William Byrd, and John Rutter as well as familiar hymns such as Amazing Grace, I Will Rise, Let All Things Now Living, and others. The approximate duration of the service is 90 minutes including an intermission.
The tour choir is made up of 25 students representing both the high school and college departments of Immanuel Lutheran. Two students from Lexington County are members of this choir.
Immanuel Lutheran College (ilc.edu) is the higher educational institution of the Church of the Lutheran Confession (CLC). It consists of three departments. In the high school, young people can transition into adulthood by being a part of the Immanuel experience. The college offers four-year degrees in education and theology, as well as a two-year Associate of Arts degree. The seminary prepares young men to serve as well prepared candidates for the preaching ministry in our CLC congregations and in various domestic and world missions.
