West Columbia, SC 02/27/2022 - Lexington Medical Center’s COVID-19 vaccination site is moving to a new location. Effective Monday, February 28, the vaccine clinic will move from Brookland Baptist Church to 139 Summerplace Drive in West Columbia.
The vaccine clinic will be closed on Sunday, February 27 to prepare for the move.
The new hours for vaccines and testing at the Summerplace Drive location will be Monday – Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lexington Medical Center is currently administering first, second and booster doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available to eligible individuals age 5 and older. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is available to those age 18 and older. Children age 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Community members can schedule an appointment for a vaccine by going to LexMed.com/COVID. Walk-ins are also welcome.
To date, Lexington Medical Center has administered more than 110,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The hospital is thankful for all the support it has received from the community during the pandemic as it works to keep our community healthy and safe.
