Lexington PD targeting fraudsters who hit Target with stolen credit card

Lexington, SC 05/26/2022 (Paul Kirby) - The Lexington Police Department is once again turning to the public in hopes that someone can help them find two fraudsters that used a stolen credit card at the Target on Sunset Boulevard. According to police, on May 13, 2022, the pair went into Target and bought more than $1,000 worth of Target gift cards with someone’s stolen card.

Through photos taken by the store’s surveillance system, the police have a good idea of what the pair look like. The main problem with these pictures is the way the pair were dressed. Both wore pandemic style facemask that obscured much of their faces. One also had on a heavy jacket like it was January, not May. In hindsight, this was suspicious from the start. Video evidence also shows that the pair left the parking lot in a white SUV.

PHOTO #1: Suspect leaving the Target. Note the unique camouflage hat and winter coat.

PHOTO #2: Suspect has a stocky build with a black cap and some sort of emblem on it. Is that a logo on his shirt of does it have a pocket with something sticking out of it? There also appears to be a drawstring on his top or pants.
