One killed in wreck on Boiling Springs Road Thursday

Boiling Springs, SC 01/05/2024 (Paul Kirby) – The SC Highway Patrol has reported that one person died in a single vehicle collision on Boiling Springs Road Thursday evening. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolton of the SCHP, the crash occurred at 6:13 p.m.

Bolton said that the sole occupant of the vehicle, its driver, was travelling in a 2003 Chevrolet pickup along Boiling Springs Road when he dropped off the side of the road and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of this collision.

As of 3:41 p.m. Friday, Coroner Margaret Fisher has not yet released the identity of the driver.
