Detectives Seek Identity of Robbery Subject

Lexington, S.C. – The Lexington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual involved in the weekend robbery of the Rainbow Gas Garden.

At approximately 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, July 24th, 2016, an unknown black male entered the Rainbow Gas Garden which is located at 911 South Lake Drive and demanded money while pointing a firearm at several employees. The subject fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The subject is described as a black male who was dressed in all black except with a red bandana covering his face. It is believed he may have fled in a vehicle that was parked nearby.
