Man stabbed Friday night between Pine Ridge and Gaston

Gaston, SC - On Friday night, deputies from Lexington County as well as firefighters and EMS personnel responded to what was first reported to be a gunshot in the 100 block of Lynnfield Court near Gaston. When they arrived on the scene they found that it was actually a stabbing incident.

Once the scene was secured by law enforcement, EMS personnel and firefighters treated an adult male victim on location before he was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to Captain Adam Myrick with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No additional details are available at this time.
