Former Lexington Republican Chairmen endorse Barron for Coroner

Lexington, SC - Frank Barron’s bid to become Lexington County Coroner has received a big boost with the endorsements of two former County Republican Chairmen. Barron picked up support from Bill Rentiers and Dr. Buddy Witherspoon.
“These leaders know that Lexington County is in need of a coroner who has the qualifications and the integrity to lead the office,” said Barron. “These leaders also know that I am the only candidate in this race with decades of commitment as a Conservative Republican.”
Witherspoon, who also served as South Carolina’s Republican National Committeeman and was elected as a delegate to this year’s Republican National Convention, said that Barron is an easy choice.
“I have known Frank for many years. He has always been a man of great integrity and his record shows that he will run an efficient office that always looks out for the taxpayers,” he said. “Without a doubt, I will cast my vote for Frank Barron on Tuesday, November 8th.”
Rentiers, the immediate past chairman of the Lexington GOP, believes Barron’s expertise and selflessness are crucial to moving the coroner’s office in the right direction.
“Frank is a Citadel alum, has been a strong supporter of our armed services and has served our area in many capacities over the years,” he said. “He wants to be coroner because he has the ability, knowledge and leadership to serve the citizens of Lexington County. I am proud to support Frank Barron for Coroner in November.”
“I am privileged to earn the support of these Republican leaders,” Barron said. “Their trust is another great addition to the momentum we have built since the beginning of this campaign.”
