SCE&G Employees to Deliver Meals on Wheels to Columbia Area Senior Citizens

Lexington, SC - SCE&G Employees to Deliver Meals on Wheels to Columbia Area Senior Citizens.
WHAT: SCE&G employees will plate, pack and deliver hot meals to Columbia area senior citizens through Senior Resources’ Meals on Wheels program. Earlier this week, SCE&G announced a $250,000 donation to Meals on Wheels programs throughout South Carolina, of which Senior Resources received $62,500. The gift will enable Senior Resources to reduce its waiting list and serve more seniors in need.
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 30 starting at 9 a.m.
SCHEDULE: 9 a.m. SCE&G employees will plate and pack food inside church kitchen 10:30 a.m. (Approximate time) Additional SCE&G employees arrive for meal delivery 11 a.m. SCE&G employees begin delivering meals
